You are a System of a Down fan! rock on!! They are great! This work has such emotion and it reminds me of a movie that I saw a long long time ago, where there was this evil tree, there was a spirit trapped inside it and a logging company was about to cut it down and release the evil so all the forest spirits had to fight the logging company...anyway, this just sort of reminds me of that. So I am assuming you used charcoals.

Great blending, highlights and shadow deffinition are great. There is really a sense of depth here.

Great Job!

Thanks for the comments - they mean a lot!

You know I've been wanting to draw something with this title for a long time now...
Main idea: I don't think any "angel" should die - but you can see this every day... angels being used and tortured by those who WOULD deserve to "die".
And it hurts to see any of your close friends suffering in the hands of those. As you watch these angels dying... it really makes you cry. The picture is the pain I feel.

I didn't use charcoal, but a very similar pencil-like thing (I'm afraid I don't know the exact word for it in English)

Anyway, I'm glad you all like it!

Köszi! Aha, grafittömbbel az egész meg némi árnyékolás - homályosítás photostudio-ban.

Gondolkoztam, hogy szóljak-e, hogy meg ne ijedj, ha ellátogatsz hozzám (némileg más stílus:)) de vannak itt azért komolyabbak is, mint az én rajzaim. De örülök, ha tetszik!

Hey, thanks! Glad you like it! I don't think it's so 'perfect' - but it does 'say' the things I mean to say.

I'm only starting to do art in a more... surreal way....
